Our story began in the halls of our elementary school back in 2004. Though we were just classmates and never really spoke much then, the shy and charming Kent already had a quiet crush on Jenina, the girl who turned heads but came off a little reserved and distant. We were two very different people in those early days, living in separate worlds despite being just a few desks apart. Who would've thought that years later, those childhood memories would lead to something so beautiful?

It was in high school that fate stepped in. Kent, mustering the courage, asked one of Jenina's cousins for her number, and from there, everything slowly blossomed. Late-night phone calls, endless text conversations, and shared laughter brought us closer until we finally went on our first date. In May 2012, we officially became a couple. But life had other plans.

In 2013, Kent had to migrate to Ireland, and the distance became too heavy for our young hearts to carry. We parted ways in 2014, not knowing what the future held. Years passed and we poured ourselves into our individual journeys—growing, learning, and becoming the people we were meant to be.
